About The Pink Fairy

Helping Where We Can, When We Can

The Pink Fairy is a passion project turned powerful initiative, driven by the big heart of Michael Webb and his incredible wife, Klara. Together, we dedicate our energy, creativity, and time to supporting animal and children’s welfare organizations throughout the Eastern Cape—and beyond.

What began as a light-hearted idea—Michael running the Comrades Marathon dressed as a Pink Fairy to raise funds for the King William’s Town SPCA—quickly became a movement. Our unique approach, combining sports, spectacle, and community spirit, has touched countless lives, both furry and human.

What We Do

We organize impactful fundraisers, events, raffles, and trail runs that directly support local charities and welfare organizations. Our mission is simple but powerful: to help where we can, when we can. Whether it’s dressing up in a tutu for a marathon or hosting an ’80s-themed fundraiser, everything we do is designed to raise funds, awareness, and hope.

Many charities are stretched thin, doing vital work with limited resources. They don’t always have the time or capacity to organize fundraising events. That’s where we step in. We create, manage, and run events so they can focus on what they do best—caring for those in need.
