Chintsa Horse Rehabilitation center on the East Coast of South Africa

An exciting new event is shaping up in November . This time the Pink Fairy team will be raising funds for the Chintsa Horse Rehabilitation center on the East Coast of South Africa .

This amazing organization takes in old , injured or unwanted horses and looks after them until they close their eyes one final time . The organization utilizes horse trails along the beach in order to raise funds and also encourages volunteers to help them maintain the horses .

This non profit organization has been running for 20 years and deserves our support .

We will be hosting our first event on November 08th 2025 to raise funds and assist where we can .

Once again the event will be all about FUN , and will incorporate a 25km Adventure race and Two separate trail runs of 5kms and 8kms .

The adventure race will be in Teams of two format and will incorporate MTB , Trail running /hiking , a bit of water fun and some fun challenges .

As with all Pink Fairy events the focus will be on a SAFE , Family event and achievable for all with a moderate level of fitness .

SPONSOR NEEDED : We are desperately needing a title sponsor for the event in order to cut costs to a bare minimum . As always we endeavor to supply at least 80 T – Shirts to our participants and this is our largest cost . The more we can save the more we can help the Charity .

If you are able to help please contact us .

I ran the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon in my Pink Fairy outfit to raise funds for Afripaw, a Cape Town-based animal welfare organisation doing fantastic work in underserved communities. My fundraising target was a minimum of R4,220, with a run goal of finishing in under four hours—though the time depended on how many donation stops I made along the way!
